Does Web Disk work with Windows 7?

Unfortunately, Windows made a significant change to the OS with Windows 7, and Web Disk ceased to function. Windows 7 stopped allowing "HTTP Basic Authentication", which Webdisk uses. There is a way for you to re-enable that in Windows 7, but it's possible that updates to Windows may overwrite the change, requiring you to re-enable it again. The change is outlined in this MS kb article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/841215 Toward the bottom of the page, there is an automatic fix button you can click to have the fix applied for you. So, the answer to your question is... yes, with a temporary fix from Microsoft, Web Disk can function in Windows 7.
