The process of setting up e-mail forwarding depends on whether you are using the free e-mail forwarding provided by our domain name registrar... or if you host your web site with QTH.com or other provider. This article will help you determine the situation and the proper place to setup Email Forwarding:
- Log in at http://hosting.qth.com
- On the top menu, click "Domain Services" and then "My Domains"
- Click the WRENCH icon, or the word "Active", to the far right of the domain you wish to setup Email Forwarding, to Manage the domain.
- Click "Nameservers" on the LEFT menu.
- If the nameservers show dns1.name-services.com, dns2.name-services.com, etc., this means that you are using the free DNS service from our domain name registrar, so you are probably also using their free e-mail forwarding service. You can proceed to setup your Email Forwarding by clicking "Email Forwarding" on the LEFT menu. NOTE: If you do not see the Emai Forwarding option here, please contact us, so that we may fix this problem (known issue, easy to fix).
- If the nameservers show QTH.com DNS Servers (for example ns10.qth.com, ns11.qth.com, etc.), this means that you probably host your email with QTH.com's hosting service. You will need to log into your cPanel hosting control panel and click the icon called "Forwarders" to setup e-mail forwarding.
- If the nameservers are something else other than name-services.com or qth.com, then you are probably hosting your e-mail somewhere else. You will need to contact your email provider for email forwarding assistance. You can also contact us for further advice.
- If the nameservers show dns1.name-services.com, dns2.name-services.com, etc., this means that you are using the free DNS service from our domain name registrar, so you are probably also using their free e-mail forwarding service. You can proceed to setup your Email Forwarding by clicking "Email Forwarding" on the LEFT menu. NOTE: If you do not see the Emai Forwarding option here, please contact us, so that we may fix this problem (known issue, easy to fix).
