Trouble accessing Webmail

The QTH.com Webmail System uses port 2096. So, if you go to http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail, it will redirect you to https://www.yourdomain.com:2096 and give you the Webmail login prompt.

You will be prompted for a Username and Password:
  • The Username is your e-mail address
  • The Password is the password associated with that e-mail account.
Once you log in, you will be presented with 3 different webmail options. Choose the one that works best for you.

Sometimes, customers have difficulty using our standard Webmail service, especially when customers try to check webmail from work, as some company firewalls block uncommon port numbers, such as 2096.  The good news is that there is a workaround. We have set up a webmail "proxy" that will allow you to use webmail via regular web/https port 443.

To use the Webmail Proxy, go to:  https://webmail.example.com (replace example.com with your own domain name)

You will then get the normal webmail login prompt. Log into webmail as would normally do, and it should work just fine. Please note that the proxy system can be a bit slower, and we highly encourage you to use Webmail the normal way.

If you do not get the prompt to log in, there could be a few different issues:
  • It is possible that the webmail proxy has not been setup for your account.  Please contact QTH.com Support for assistance.
  • It is possible your IP address is blocked on our firewall, for too many failed login attempts or other issue. See this article to check if your IP address is blocked, and to unblock it, if so.
